Revelation: The Fuel Project
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.”
I recently came across a series of videos on YouTube that really opened my eyes to what is going on in the world today. I have known for a long time that we are going through the Tribulation period, but I did not realize just how far we were into the tribulation. I have been taught like many people that the Revelation period is something that would come in the future and we would soon be raptured. But as you will learn, we are far beyond where I thought we were. My eyes are opened, and I now see just how close we are to the wrath of God. We are no longer living out the tribulation, but we are almost half way through the end times.
I am going to lay out the timeline of where we are and try to explain what is going to happen soon. After reading this post, please take time to watch the series from TheFuelProject on YouTube called Revelation: The Fuel Project Guide. My main goal now is to bring others to the realization of just where we are in God’s timeline. We will be praying for you, that you too may have your eyes completely opened and that you come to terms with what is going on in the world today before it is too late.
The first thing we will go over is the beginning of the end when the persecution of the church began with Stephen. He was the first martyr and was stoned outside the city walls for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In Hebrews we see that the suffering for Christ begins in this passage: “But others were tortured, refusing to turn from God in order to be set free. They placed their hope in a better life after the resurrection. Some were jeered at, and their backs were cut open with whips. Others were chained in prisons. Some died by stoning, some were sawed in half, and others were killed by the sword. Some went about wearing skins of sheep and goats, destitute and oppressed and mistreated. They were too good for this world, wandering over deserts and mountains, hiding in caves and holes in the ground.” Hebrews 11:35-38
It was during the dark ages that the Bible was taken away from the common man, and changed to Latin so that Christians would become dependent on the clergy, which had become corrupt. Many more Christians were tortured and killed because of their relationship with Christ. Then came the 20th Century where more Christians and Jews were persecuted, tortured and killed than any other time throughout history. Atheism became widely circulated and brought about the worst intolerance of all the worldviews from the past.
More Christians are persecuted than any other religion in the world. In 2013, Christian martyrdom doubled according to one report by Heather Clark. The following countries have risen in the martyrdom of Christians in recent years: Middle East, Nigeria, Burma, Iraq, India, China, Egypt, and Pakistan. As, if that is not bad enough, we must brace ourselves for what is coming ahead. Persecution is not going to get better, it is actually going to get worse in the days ahead.
Jesus gives us warnings in His word. The Olivet Discourse explains the signs of the end in Matthew 24. At this time He tells us that there will be many false messiahs and antichrists, as well as many false religions. When you search the internet today, you will see that this is and has been happening the world over for many years. There will be more wars, rumors of wars, famines, and natural disasters. Many will be arrested, persecuted, and killed, increasing Christian persecution, and sin till be everywhere. Jerusalem will be attacked during the reign of the Antichrist and idols will be set up. (Oklahoma City and Detroit, are two such places that have Baphomet statues erected).
When the Antichrist has come to power, he will erect a statue on the temple mount. Once this is done, it will be time for Christians to flee into the wilderness to avoid persecution. The birth pains are becoming more intense today than ever before. Be vigilant and do not fall prey to the false prophets and false religions. At the end of those days, the sun will turn black as sackcloth, the moon will not give any light, and the stars will fall from the sky. All the powers of in the heavens will be shaken, then look up for the sign that the Son of Man will appear in the sky causing deep mourning among the people of earth. Jesus will then appear in the clouds of Heaven with great glory. A mighty trumpet will sound, and the angels will gather Gods chosen from the earth and from the farthest reaches of heaven.
Many people today believe that we will not suffer through the tribulation, but the bible shows us that Christians will suffer through it in the following verses:
- Mark 13:13
13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
- John 6:33
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
- John 15:18-20
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
- John 17:14
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
- 1 Peter 4:1, 12
4 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
- 2 Timothy 3:12
12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
- Acts 14:22
22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
- Matthew 16: 24-25
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
With all of this in mind, please stay vigilant and remember that these things much come to pass before the great and terrible day of the Lord. Take time to watch the YouTube video and watch the skies, for our redemption draws near. We are praying for you to be steadfast and head His warnings for the things that are to come.
God bless you all and may you find comfort in His everlasting promises.
